The future of humanity rests in the hands of today’s children. Around the globe, severe poverty is challenging the ability of millions of children to play, learn, and grow into responsive, responsible citizens. We are working with grassroots organizations to support educational and recreational opportunities, make health services more accessible, and improve nutrition and safety for children in our targeted project areas.
Empowering women.
Addressing issues of gender inequality and domestic violence produces immediate, measurable benefits in all aspects of society, as is documented in the United Nation’s Millennium Goals. Our priorities are to facilitate learning opportunities including marketable skills and literacy, to ensure that women have a safe refuge from domestic violence, and to increase access to health services.
Breaking the cycle of poverty, one community at a time.
The projects we choose are calculated to do the most good for the largest number of people and cluster in specific geographical areas that are receiving limited international aid. Focusing financial and human resources on our work with local organizations ensures that our aid is culturally appropriate and meets the real needs of an emerging, sustainable community.
